Happy Anniversary BRT
Founded on March 3, 1904, Baylor Round Table began as a women’s literary and social club formed by seven Baylor women and has grown into a vibrant organization, intellectual curiosity, friendship, and service Baylor University. From early literary presentations to traditions like Membership Tea, Christmas gathering, Anniversary celebrations (begun in 1930!), International Thanksgiving Dinner, and Spring luncheon and Style Show, Round Table continues to offer meaningful programming alongside opportunities for fellowship. Service remains central to Round Table’s mission. Early fundraising for books and wartime relief efforts evolved into initiatives like establishing its first student scholarship in 1978, a tradition of giving that continues today.
